  Me and my family stopped in and the waitress was very friendly. A very relaxed place for familys to eat. I tried gator two times at different restaurants and hated it but tried my daughters gator bites from here and they were delicious. Deff worth five stars.

  Our air boat guide, Seth (who was awesome) suggested this spot. The food was great. Blackened gator and swamp soup were big hits. The sweet bread balls were great too. Nice live music with local flavor. Friendly service. Good stuff all around.

  UNCARING and CONFUSED. I was getting ready to take my Female Yellow Labrador (Dog) out on the Lake for the day. The Gator didn't look very busy and they had outside seating around the literal shack.
  So I thought they would appreciate my business but I was incorrect. I went inside alone and asked if there was anywhere I could sit with my dog. The gentleman said outside "Sure". I said great and he showed me outside, took my drink order and then brought my Sweet Ice Tea out to me.
  
  All was great until the Waitress came into the picture. There was nobody else outside and my dog is very well behaved and has eaten in MANY outdoor seating areas USUALLY in laid back fun areas which apparently this is not. The waitress immediately said I had to put my dog on a leash even though there was nobody else anywhere outside by us and my dog was right next to me except when someone went down to pet her in which case she stood up and licked them.
  
  The BEST PART is that I had not yet ordered my $22 Alligator Lunch. They did have a $12 Alligator Appetizer I should admit. So the waitress charged me for my One Glass of Ice Tea and we left to try and enjoy our Saturday the way I had pictured it.
  
  The world has enough rules and laws without some shack in the middle of nowhere having rules that are stricter than City Restaurants I have been in.
